Scoping study of operational changes to reduce river and storage losses along the River Murray system

The purpose of this scoping study was to identify potential opportunities to reduce losses of water from the River Murray and storages.  Reduction of losses would create an opportunity to realise an economic and/or environmental benefit.

Pilot Allocation Leaseback Project

Through this project the MDBC will enter the water market and purchase water entitlements from willing sellers, with an agreed portion of allocation leased back to irrigators through a contractual arrangement.
